As a social entrepreneur with a deep-rooted passion for the advancement of West Africa’s burgeoning blue economy, I embarked on a transformative journey back to Nigeria. After spending two decades in America, my mission was to delve into the historical impacts of the transatlantic slave trade on the indigenous communities along the Atlantic coast. To address these longstanding effects, I have initiated the development of a fleet of high-quality boats, proudly made in West Africa. This initiative serves a dual purpose: it not only aims to revitalize the region’s maritime heritage but also establishes a comprehensive program designed to foster skills training and entrepreneurship. Through targeted training, mentorship, and resource allocation, we are dedicated to empowering individuals from the affected communities. Our goal is to enable them to forge sustainable livelihoods and establish thriving businesses within the nautical tourism sector, thereby catalyzing community-wide economic development and social upliftment.
